Lilly, a young girl, was terrified of what might be under her bed. One day, she discovered strange eggs, and though her parents initially dismissed her fears, they eventually checked and found the same bizarre eggs. Concerned, they called in an expert, John, who panicked and ordered them to evacuate the house. Soon, hazmat-suited professionals arrived, and the police took Oscar away, leaving Lilly and Brenda behind.
Oscar was taken to a remote location, where he was confined to a room and told that Lilly had become seriously ill after coming into contact with the eggs. The virus was deadly, and they were racing against time to save her. Alex, a government expert, suggested a blood transfusion, and after testing, it was found that Oscar’s blood could help.
Oscar underwent a transfusion, but Lilly’s condition didn’t improve. A second transfusion was necessary, and despite his weakened state, Oscar agreed. Finally, Lilly began to recover as the virus levels in her blood dropped.
After some time, the family was reunited. Lilly was awake and improving, and though Oscar had to be treated for blood loss, they were all relieved. The family was eventually released and decided to move to California, leaving their old life—and the traumatic experience—behind. They never spoke of it again, but they were grateful for their second chance at life.
