Valentina Duffy captured hearts when she made an adorable appearance at the White House. The five-year-old, who has Down Syndrome, stole the show as she posed with President Donald Trump at the Resolute Desk, beaming in a blue dress and bow.
Her mother, Rachel Campos-Duffy, shared the touching photos online, calling it an honor to meet the President.
The post quickly gained attention, with many praising Valentina’s joyful presence.
Though Rachel and Sean — who met on MTV years ago — are parents to nine children, it was Valentina who captured national attention that day.
Reflecting on her big family, Rachel said they never set out to have nine kids. “Each one just came, and we took them as blessings,” she said, adding that their last child was a surprise.
Raising a large family, she says, is easier in rural Wisconsin than in a big city — and the close-knit bonds between her children are something she cherishes deeply.
